Dr Bernd Genser, MSc, PhD

BGStats Consulting was founded in 2003 by Dr Bernd Genser who holds an MSc in Applied Mathematics (1996) from the University of Technology, Graz, Austria and a PhD in Biostatistics (2003) from the  University of Technology, Graz, Austria and the Humboldt University of Berlin, Germany. Dr Genser has more than 15 years of international experience as a statistical consultant and researcher in clinical medicine, epidemiology and public health. Dr Genser has collaborated in several immuno-epidemiological studies in South America investigating immune-mediated diseases such as allergy or asthma. He has published a large number of scientific articles in leading journals and was awarded by the Fred L Sopper Award for Excelence in Health Literature, Pan American Health and Education Foundation/PAHO, 2008. (2008). Dr Genser is an associate scientist and lecturer in epidemiology, biostatistics and econometrics at the Mannheim Institute of Public Health Social and Preventive Medicine, University of Heidelberg, Germany.
